Selling Vegetables or Future Sourcing Expert?

This Indian EXpress headline was enough to get my head spinning even before I clicked it. It screamed
IIM-A alumnus sells vegetables in Patna
After reading the story, I was much relieved to know that someone is not into that bad times to be sitting on railway crossing with a basket of spinach. Rather, I learnt about IIM A graduate Kaushalendra who has decided to be truly different in not joining as management trainee in a promising company, but has decided to work on vegetable distribution on his own.
Few years down Kaushalendra would have either succeeded or failed in his vegetable trading business. If he succeeds, he would be hailed as a pathbreaker sethji. If he fails (or moderately succeeds), he would arguably be sitting in a large corporation as a sourcing and supply chain expert. Either way, he wins. And people he work with will win too, whether it is the farmers or the company wallas. Anyway, this may be one rare IIMA grad who has opted to work in Bihar. Are times changing good for my state of ancestors?

Bharti Jacob of seed fund.in said she had to reject funding request for similar proposal due to not having proper exit criteria
